PhD in Electrical Engineering, Extensive training, research and experience in design, implementation and management of communications and computer networks

Mr Hosea Kadakwa Phiri
Assistant Network Engineer

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Some Physics. The Network Administrator with good knowledge in Linux/Unix Scripting, Unix/Linux Server Management, Wireless Networking, Remote System administration, Remote user/technical support.

Mr Thoko Chikuse ,
Assistant Network Engineer

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with Good experience on Linux, Internet servers and services. Excellent skills on different computer systems, networks, hardware and technical support services.

Mr George Kawamba Mtonga,
Assistant Network Engineer

Bachelor of Science in computer science and statistics. Good experience on networks (both dial-up and leased lines), software engineering, database management (MySQL), user support.

Kumuzu College of Nursing, Lilongwe in the Central Region
Mzuzu University, Mzuzu in the Northern Region

6 pilot district dial-up nodes located at:

Nsanje, Thyolo and Mangochi in the Southern Region
Dedza and Mchinji in the Central Region
Nkhata Bay in the Northern Region

at least 12 node operators trained to man regional and district nodes
Submitted proposal to extend district centre coverage to all 27 districts in Malawi
